Hall of Fame – Challenge – Groomer of the Year
Within the prestigious MASTER SHOW event, which hosts the International Grooming Championship, a special award has been created to celebrate excellence, technique and passion: the Hall of Fame – Challenge – Groomer of the Year.
This title is one of the highest honors in the world of professional grooming and is awarded to the international competitor who, over the course of the competition, demonstrates technical superiority and versatility across multiple disciplines.
The Hall of Fame – Challenge is not just a trophy: it is a symbol of prestige, a consecration for those who have stood out among the best, and a real opportunity to increase their visibility in the industry.
The winner will receive a cash prize of € 1000, offered by Master Show, and anyone who registers for the HALL OF FAME – CHALLENGE will receive free registration in one of the classes they compete in, regardless of whether they win.
Spirit of the event
The Hall of Fame – Challenge is much more than a competition: it is an opportunity to challenge yourself, compete with the best professionals in the industry and leave your mark on the history of grooming.
Whoever wins it does not just receive a tangible award, but becomes an ambassador of style, technique and passion.
HOW TO TAKE PART
To compete for the title, you must take part in at least three competition classes, chosen from the following: Poodles, Spaniels, Stripping, Other Coats, Intermediate, Commercial, Asian Fusion.
The technical classes (Poodles, Spaniels, Stripping, Other Coats) are divided into two levels:
Open
Champions, based on the participant’s experience.
Each competitor is free to choose the classes in which to compete, even without intending to compete for the title. Only those who take part in at least three classes will be considered for the award.
SCORING SYSTEM
The system is simple and merit-based:
1st place: 10 points
2nd place: 8 points
3rd place: 6 points
The total points obtained in the classes entered determines the overall winner. You can also compete in four classes to increase your chances of accumulating points.
Special awards, classes not listed in the rules and the Best in Show title do not count toward the points total for the Hall of Fame – Challenge.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND RECOGNITION
The official rankings will be announced at the end of the second day of competition, during the closing ceremony. The winner will be proclaimed Groomer of the Year HALL OF FAME winner 2027, and their name will be added to the Master Show roll of honor.
The title is renewable every year: winners of previous editions can also take part again to reconfirm their excellence.
